Mosaic panel (Aramaic inscription)

5th/6th Century AD – 95.5x103x4 cm

This mosaic represents an inscription written in Aramaic, in white tesserae on a red tessellated background. The text commemorates the good deeds of Saint Cyrianus (or son of Qaisios) and the benefactors who made or restored parts of the church or its furnishings.
